Richard Halstead is EEF's Membership Engagement Director North, he will be reviewing the latest on Brexit – what matters most for Britain’s Manufacturers and providing results from EEF’s latest Manufacturing Outlook survey. Richard has worked in manufacturing for thirty years, joining EEF as Region Director in March 2011 and is a Board Director for Birmingham Science City as well as The WMG Academy for Young Engineers. In addition Richard chaired the Midlands Business Forum as well as the Midlands STEM Cohesion Group and was also a Board Director of the West Midlands Manufacturing Consortium which ran MAS in the West Midlands.

He is passionate about motorbikes and spends his free time clay pigeon shooting, fishing or tinkering with anything mechanical.
